What Daylight believes
You don't find time. You place it.
An hour you don't give a job still gets spent. It just gets spent by default. Daylight is a small daily practice of deciding first, so the day you live is closer to the day you meant.
Try it · Budget your 24
A day is a fixed budget. Spend it like one.
Every goal gets its own hours, and the day only holds 24. Here is an example day, placed one goal at a time.
Sleep · 8 h
Sleep gets the first block.
Eight hours, placed before anything else asks for them.
Deep work · 6 h
Then the work that matters.
Six hours with a name and a target, not whatever is left over.
Family · Exercise · Reading · 5 h
Then the people, and the rest.
Three hours for family, one to move, one to read.
5 h not yet placed
Unplaced hours still get spent.
They just get spent by default. Daylight shows how much of the 24 hours is left to plan.
Your turn
Now place your own day.
Move each slider and see the day fill. Daylight works in 15-minute steps, just like these.

Try it · Plan against actual
Intention, meet reality.
Days drift. Daylight puts the hours you planned next to the hours you logged, then compares this week with last week and the last 30 days with the 30 before. No guilt, just the truth, and a better plan next time.
What happened
Logged 93.5 h of 112 h planned
An example week, not your data. The dashed outline is the plan.
The plan
First, the week you meant.
Five goals and 112 hours, each goal with its own target.
What happened
Then, the week you lived.
93.5 hours logged. Family ran 3 hours over. Exercise and reading got half the time they were given.
Try it · The 15-minute effect
Small blocks add up to whole days.
Fifteen minutes feels like nothing, which is exactly why it slips away. Pick a daily block and see what it becomes over a year.
Here is what 30 m a day becomes. With scripts on, a slider lets you pick any daily block from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
183 hours a year
That's 7.6 full 24-hour days, built a few minutes at a time.
Each square is one full day.

Questions
Can I use Daylight now?
Yes, on the web, on iPhone and on Android. Sign in at daylightapp.app or get Daylight from the App Store or Google Play.
Is there a free version?
No. Daylight has one subscription, Daylight Pro, with a 14-day free trial, at the prices above.
Will my plan stay in sync across devices?
Yes. Your goals, target hours and logged time are saved to your Daylight account. In the iPhone and Android apps, time you log offline is saved on the phone and synced when you're back online. The web app needs a connection to save changes.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. In Settings you can export your time history as a CSV file or your whole account as a JSON backup, and you can delete your account, which permanently removes your goals, settings and time history.
How is Daylight different from Daymark?
Daymark, also from Tyasi LLC, is a to-do list for tasks. Daylight plans your hours: where the 24 hours of your day go, and how that compares with what happened. They're separate apps with separate accounts.
Today still has hours left.
Give them a place. Start with today.
